Getting the app

Where can I download MiseTable?

MiseTable isn't on the App Store yet — it's coming soon. Email support@misetable.app and we'll let you know the day it goes live.

What do I need to run it?

An iPhone or iPad running iOS 26.2 or later. The Apple Watch app and cooking Live Activity need a paired Watch and a recent watchOS.

Recipes

How do I import a recipe from a website?

Open the Recipes tab, tap the + button, and paste the recipe URL under "Import from URL". MiseTable pulls in the ingredients, steps, photo and nutrition — including grouped sections like "For the Rub".

You can also share a recipe straight from Safari: tap the Share button in Safari and choose MiseTable.

How do I scan a printed recipe card or cookbook page?

Tap + in the Recipes tab and choose Take Photo of Recipe. Hold your camera over the page and MiseTable reads it in on device. You can scan several pages at once, and PDFs work too. Scanning is a Pro feature.

My recipe lives in Notes / Bear / Notion. Can I get it in?

Yes — tap + in the Recipes tab, scroll to Other Options, and choose Paste Recipe Text. Paste the whole thing and MiseTable will split it into ingredients and steps.

From Notes specifically, use Share → Send Copy → Text Format rather than the "Collaborate" link — a notes:// link only works on your own device and can't be read by another app.

An import came in wrong. Can I fix it?

Everything is editable after import — tap Edit on the recipe to correct ingredients, steps, section headers, times and nutrition. If a particular site imports badly, send us the link and we'll take a look.

Cooking

How do timers work while I'm cooking?

Open a recipe and tap Start Cooking. Times written in a step — "simmer for 10 minutes" — become tappable timers, and the screen stays awake while you cook. Your current step and running timer also appear as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and on your Apple Watch.

Can I change the units in a recipe?

Yes. Recipes can be converted between metric and imperial on demand, from the recipe view and inside cooking mode. Converted amounts are shown as approximate — the original recipe is never overwritten.

Grocery & meal plan

I can't find the one item I still need in a long list.

Tap the progress card at the top of the Grocery tab ("3 to go") to enter focus mode — everything you've already checked off is hidden until you tap it again.

My grocery list isn't syncing with Reminders.

Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders and make sure MiseTable has Full Access. Then reopen MiseTable → Settings and toggle Reminders sync off and on to reconnect. Reminders sync is a Pro feature.

Can I reuse a week I've already planned?

Yes — save any week as a template from the Meal Plan tab, then apply it to a future week and adjust from there.

Household, Pro & your data

How does Household Sharing work?

Go to Settings → Household and tap Create Household, then send the invite link to your family. Once they accept, recipes, meal plans and grocery lists stay in sync across everyone's devices over iCloud — up to 6 people. Everyone needs to be signed in to iCloud. Household Sharing requires MiseTable Pro.

What's free and what needs Pro?

Recipes, web import, the meal plan, grocery lists and cooking mode are free forever. Pro adds household sharing, the full nutrition dashboard, freezer management, Apple Reminders sync, and photo/PDF recipe scanning. See the full breakdown →

How do I restore or cancel my subscription?

To restore: open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple ID used to buy it.

To cancel: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MiseTable Pro → Cancel Subscription. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple.

Can I get my recipes out of the app?

Yes. Settings → Export Library… writes your entire library — recipes, ingredients, steps and meal plan — to a JSON file you can save or send anywhere. Your data is never locked in.

My data disappeared after reinstalling.

If you were in a household, your shared data restores automatically once you sign in with the same Apple ID and reopen the app — give the first sync a few minutes. If it hasn't come back after that, email us before adding anything new and we'll help you recover it.
